From Wall Street to Main Street
I was born and raised in Colombia and moved to the United States as a teenager without speaking English, without a roadmap, and with a deep belief in education, discipline, and opportunity. Like many immigrants, I learned early to be adaptable. To work hard. To aim high.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eFor much of my early life, I thought I would become a doctor. I was drawn to science, structure, and the idea of helping people through moments that mattered. I studied biotechnology before eventually pivoting to finance; not as a departure from service, but as a different way to practice it.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eThat decision led me into a career inside some of the world’s most respected financial institutions: J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Scotiabank where I supported high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families across the U.S., Latin America, and beyond.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eFrom the outside, it looked like success.
From the inside, I was learning how wealth actually works.
I saw how assets are structured—not just invested.
How risk is managed—not just avoided.
How legacy is designed—not left to chance.
I also began to notice something important.
Many of the most powerful strategies, those related to protection, tax efficiency, and long-term planning, are rarely explained upfront. They are often introduced later, once someone already has significant wealth, professional teams, or generational context.
Some people gain access early. Many do not!
Even with a finance degree, professional licenses, and a six-figure income, I didn’t have a clear strategy of my own. I understood investments and operations, but I had never been taught how insurance could be used strategically, what annuities actually were, or how protection and estate planning fit into a cohesive long-term framework.
That gap wasn’t about intelligence or effort.
It was about exposure, timing, and education.
Over time, through leadership roles, continued learning, and real-life transitions, I began to connect the dots. Not just between products, but between people, systems, and decisions.
When my chapter in corporate banking came to a close, I didn’t walk away from finance—I widened its lens.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and education. I help individuals and leaders understand how income, protection, planning, and long-term intent work together especially during moments of transition.
I don’t position myself as someone who learned everything early.
I position myself as someone who keeps learning and translates complexity with clarity and care.
That’s what From Wall Street to Main Street means to me:
Bridging systems, expanding understanding, and helping people make decisions with intention.

You don’t need to arrive with a plan.
You don’t need to know the right terminology.
You don’t even need to know exactly what you’re looking for.
Our conversation is about understanding your situation clearly, exploring options responsibly, and helping you think through what makes sense now—not selling you a predetermined solution.
Sometimes that leads to working together.
Sometimes it leads to clarity, referrals, or simply peace of mind.
Either way, you leave better informed than when you arrived.
If you’re wondering whether this is the right conversation to have, it usually is.
